Green IT Renew - renewed computers
Our objective at Green IT
is to use disposal as a last resort. Most of the business class equipment that
have been used by our customers will get new users. These renewed
computers will mainly be used as home computers or for doing schoolwork, as a
completely renewed computer that was bought 2–3 years ago suits perfectly for
home use – surfing the net and doing homework. Green IT offers a 12 month
warranty for its renewed devices.
We know that the life span of only very good products can be
significantly prolonged. That is why we sell only top-quality business class computers that we have renewed ourselves
in our e-store. These computers have been used by our customers
through leasing and their original price was
4–6
times higher.
What does renewal of computers mean?
- Returnable leased computers
will be transported into our service centre.
- Our
specialist will then select computers that are suitable for the e-store.
- Renewal
of computers will follow: computers will be thoroughly cleaned, inside and
out.
- All
information will be erased. When needed, worn components will be replaced,
memory will be added and/or the battery will be replaced.
- A
complete testing of the renewed computer will follow.
- Only
a proper renewal process will enable us offer the minimal warranty period
of 12 months for all our computers.

Disposal
We will
organise the disposal of the computer farm of our customers, if required. Our current utilisation partner is Weerec AS who shares our vision of a
cleaner environment – a better living environment for us all!
